From Uncertainty to Trust:
Designing for Human Resonance

RESEARCH STATEMENT

Drawing from a background in creative direction, my research investigates how design can strategically manage the human response to unfamiliar technologies.

My work is specifically focused on bridging the gap between initial user reactions of unease or strangeness and the eventual achievement of trust and meaningful resonance. I explore the psychological mechanisms that govern both emotional and behavioral responses to novel systems, ensuring that design choices translate surprise not into rejection, but into durable engagement and confidence.

This focus places my work directly at the intersection of Affective Design and Human-Computer Interaction, seeking to build future systems that are not just functional, but deeply trustworthy and human-centric.
